Freedom In Our World Today

Freedom, a symbol of peace, prosperity and independence.
Freedom, by one of it's many definitions, means "The capacity to exercise choice; free will." Yet in a world full of censorship and rules, how are we free?
North America (more specifically USA) is slowly becoming a police state, all in the name of fighting "terrorism".This requires you to have a passport to do anything involving a border, even minors.
What is going wrong here? USA is supposed to be "the land of the free". People have no voice in the government anymore, the shows being run by a fucking ape named Bush. Atleast he's almost gone for good. Then a new ape will replace him.
There is no such thing as privacy anymore, there is always a way for the government, Homeland Security and even advertiser companies, to monitor you and God help you, they do.

Too much greed, too much power, not enough being done about it.
There needs to be a fucking change.
