Hicks Don't Like Toques

Or atleast it seems that they don't agree with toques and summer time.

Let my tell you a little story of a event that happened today. It is an event that both angered me and made me laugh at the hicks I'm surrounded by.

So I was with Tish taking her dog for a walk and we decided to go up to our highschool to see a friend play soccer. It was rather boring so we decided to leave after 15 minutes, whatever. On our way out the parking lot we saw three hicks grade 11's or 12's getting into a piece of shit truck (the kind you would typically associate hicks with). One guy, the driver, looked over at me and asked me why I was wearing a toque. Seeing as his friend was wearing a hat, I replied "That's like me asking you why your friend is wearing a hat", Tish and I just kept on walking.

After 30 seconds or so they yell out and call me a fag.
I'm a fag, for wearing a rimmed toque in 18 degree weather. I don't see how the fucking this works.

This is one of those pet peeves of mine, being called a fag for no reason at all. I'm not one to typically give a shit about what anything thinks about me, but this is just too fucking stupid.

So I'm gonna knock off some points about these people.

Number 1 - They've probably lived in this hickville or the surrounding area their entire lives. All they can do is pretend to live like they're in a city, but it's not even near reality. As for me, I've lived in a city pretty much my entire life, and am only in this hicktown by force.

Number 2 - They drive a piece of shit on wheels. Their truck was literally the kind of truck that you would associate with beyond-rural hicks. It should have been in a junkyard instead of on the road.

Number 3 - They like to think that they're hardcore and can be gangster, when the truth is they are the farthest thing from it. On the coast, these guys would get killed if they acted the way they always do. Kind makes me want to start a reality show where I randomly put hicks like this in downtown Van to see how they fare out.

Number 4 - For crying out loud! How can you honestly have a good means to call someone a fag because they're wearing a goddamn toque. It's just makes me want to smash heads into walls.

Number 5 - My vocabulary isn't anything great, but I can pretty much guarantee that I have a better vocabulary then they do. Probably even better spelling too.

So remember, before you call me a fag for a fucking pathetic reason like a toque, just know that I can very easily point out flaws in other people. The fact that I'm surrounded by hicks just makes it even easier.
